I do not know at what level to attempt missions. For example, I am a Level 10 W/M and am having some trouble w/ Ruins of Surmia Mission 3. I heard you should be at level 20 at around half way (mission 13) through Prophecies. Any other suggestions out there?? Thanx

I find that having a well coordinated team is alot more important in missions than having the right level. I think level 10 is pretty decent for Mission 3. maybe check out www.guildwiki.org to review the mission before going into it and try to have a full human team rather than henchies as they're such low level at that point that it can be a real hinderance. good luck!

Level 10 is good for the 3rd mission. Occasionally you will see level 20's doing the mission because they need to do the Protector of Tyria title and doing that mission is necessary. What I do see is that some people didn't bother to upgrade the armor and they are essentially meat shields. You might want to consider that.

Level 10 is fine for the Ruins Of Surmia mission. My Mesmer was around lvl 9 or 10 doing it with henchies.

You should be 20th level by the time you have ascended (in the desert).

Take your time doing missions, don't rush.

It's been a very long time since I've done this mission, so I can't give you tips because I can't remember it.
